Excursions

Held at local parks and dog friendly businesses

Curated excursions with other members and their dogs utilizing the beautiful nature around us or in partnership with local businesses. The locations we choose and what we work on is based on feedback from active members utilizing a modular training curriculum that will grow and change with our active members.

We utilize inside and outside locations. If conditions seem like outdoor would be unsafe, we will work on pivoting the location inside to one of our pre-approved locations.

We focus on having excursions with a variety of physical difficulties to make sure everyone’s needs are met, with a lot of low impact excursions so they can be accessible for all!

We recommend bringing water for yourself and sporting supportive, close-toed shoes. We encourage members of the household to be involved to be able to learn together, if you are planning to bring any children, please reach out to us so we can make sure it's an appropriate environment for them.

Seating will be available, if you need any accommodations, let us know.

In all of our Excursions and sessions we work on:

  • Cue expansion.

  • Behavior modification.

  • Impulse control.

  • Relationship building.

  • Survival skills.

  • Handling skills.

  • Enrichment games

  • Socialization and More!

Once you’re onboarded into the program, then you will receive a monthly calendar that will have links that can be selected. Sessions will either have a 4 or 6 dog capacity, so if you don’t see the link, the class may be full. If updates occur throughout the month, a new calendar will be sent out.
